Creating and Working with your Herbal Home Apothecary with Dana – Indiana, PA

Learn the foundations of creating an organized and enjoyable home herbal apothecary. In this introductory class, we’ll talk about how to create an apothecary that is specifically catered to your own learning and the immediate needs of your household. We’ll discuss the supplies, equipment, herbs, and storage practices needed to build an effective herbal medicine cabinet, along with guidance for selecting high-quality ingredients and organizing your apothecary for everyday use. Whether you’re just beginning your herbal journey or looking to strengthen your foundation, this class provides practical skills.
Note: class serves as the first level of our Herbal Apothecary curriculum. Students enrolled in our 100-Hour Herbalist Certificate Program will have the opportunity to continue with Herbal Apothecary II, offered in Summer 2027, where we’ll return to your herbal apothecaries for more in-depth work and mentoring.
